Arizona Democrat May File Bill To Repeal SB 1070

Arizona State Senator Steve Gallardo has said that he is in the process of filing a bill that would repeal SB 1070. He said also, that although the bill probably wouldn’t pass, it is still important to attempt to address the divisive law. He was quoted as saying:

“Look at the image this has provided to the state of Arizona,” he said. “This is a black cloud that continues to hang over it. Some of the (legislative) members would agree that it might be best to pull the plug on it.”
