Latino Super PAC To Spend $1 Million Each On 15 Congressional Races

A pro-labor Super PAC, The American Worker, is set to support 15 Latino Democratic congressional candidates in 11 states. The states include: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, New Mexico, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas and Wisconsin. Remember that super PACs may raise unlimited amounts of money to support their causes, independent candidates.

Politico reported that the organizers are set to spend “as much as $1 million per race on advertising, polling, media, phones, mail, research and new media.” and that this money, $5-$15 million, comes largely from organized labor and “progressive” Latinos all over the country.

First up on the Super PAC’s list: South Texas Republican Francisco Canseco with radio ads.
