Mexican Designer Ricardo Seco Puts Out Epic Huichol-Inspired New Balances

Move over, Riccardo Tisci. There’s a new Ricardo giving sneaker classics a high-end reinterpretation and we’re feeling his vision a lot more than those Air Force 1s. Sorry not sorry.

The man in question is Torreon-native Ricardo Seco, a Mexican menswear designer who made his NYFW debut just two years ago. After 12 years a businessman in Mexico under his belt, Seco made a sharp career swerve when he decided to quit his job and pursue his passion for fashion. Since then, he’s developed a track record of dope creative partnerships.
