Watch morning cable news shows? Where are the Latinos?

By Victor Landa, NewsTaco (2.5 minute read)

This is not a casual observation, it’s a verifiable lack of Latinos on cable television programs that frame the issues and set the agenda that the rest of us will discuss on any given day. Latinos are not part of that conversation.

That’s what a recent Media Matters for America study found when it counted the diversity of guests on three morning cable television programs: Fox and Friends, CNN’s New Day and MSNBC’s Morning Joe. The numbers tell the story.

►Today’s numbers
