Unraveling the Latino Paradox
This is not the first time we hear about the Latino paradox – the “strange” way that Latino’s (read here “new immigrants”) seem to live longer and healthier lives.
It’s a topic of conversation again this week. Â Maybe politicos will see the paradox as a case for long-tern political investment. Either that, or they’ll realize that as Latinos live longer they’ll remember politicians’ promises longer as well (who needs ginko when you’ve got salsa verde?).
The latest place where the paradox raised its head was the Huffington Post.
