Rahm Emanuel Booted Off Chicago Mayoral Ballot

Rahm Emanuel does not meet the residency requirement to run for mayor of Chicago, according to an appellate court there. The former White House Chief of Staff’s attorneys are expected to appeal to the Illinois Supreme Court. Emanuel was the lead fundraiser in that race, which includes two Latino candidates, and Emanuel’s historically crappy outreach to Latinos was something he was working on by trying to promote a Chicago DREAM Act. More to come.
