Welcome To La Política, your source for Latino politics!

We all know that, moving into 2012, Latinos will be a key voting constituency in many races. Here at NewsTaco we’ve been dedicated to providing you with the most up-to-date interviews and information about Latino politics, candidates and voters as we move into this important election cycle.

To that end, we are happy to announce our new Latino politics blog, La Política. We chose this name because in Spanish the word “política” takes on many meanings, just as we hope this blog will be a place for many types of information.

Política can be: politics, policy, tact, good manners, an adjective, a noun, a verb, a politician, political, and more. It’s a word imbued with many cultural and linguistic meaning.

Here on La Política we are hoping to provide content just as varied. We are interested in breaking news, videos, tweets, press releases, voter polls, election info, fundraising information, chisme, documents, transcripts, tips and anything else that can help us all to better understand the shape of the political world we are all barreling into together.
