Today the GOP announced expanded Latino voter outreach efforts. In a release, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus said:

“The expanded multifaceted approach to connect with the Hispanic community will include both digital outreach, traditional voter identification, and get out the vote efforts…Latinos play an integral role in our communities and the Republican Party believes it is essential to involve Latinos at every level of our Party’s efforts in 2012.”

What’s more, the RNC appointed Bettina Inclán the Director of Hispanic Outreach, launched a Twitter feed, @RNCLatinos, and a blog, RNCLatinos.tumblr.com. The RNC stated that they’re going to go after Latino voters based on frustration with the economy, and conservative values.
