In Texas Latino State Reps, Senators To Promote President Obama

The Texas Democratic Party released a statement today indicating that the Democratic National Committee is assembling the “Texas Truth Team,” which will:

promote President Obama’s accomplishments, hold Republican candidates accountable for false attacks on the President, and expose the failed policies of Texas Republicans.

According to the release, members of this team include: Sen. Jose Rodriguez (D-El Paso), Rep. Roberto Alonzo (D-Dallas), Rep. Rafael Anchia (D-Dallas), Rep. Carol Alvarado (D-Houston), Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-San Antonio), Rep. Joe Farias (D-San Antonio), Rep. Jessica Farrar (D-Houston), Rep. Roland Gutierrez (D-San Antonio), Rep. Marisa Marquez (D-El Paso), Rep. Mike Villarreal (D-San Antonio), and Rep. Armando Walle (D-Houston).
