Drug Legalization At Issue In El Paso Congressional Race

The issue of whether or not drugs should be legal in the U.S. is taking a prominent role in the Democratic primary race for Texas’ 16th Congressional District. Incumbent Silvestre Reyes recently released a video ad maintaining he would not legalize drugs, whereas his opponent Beto O’Rourke co-wrote a book arguing for drug legalization.
