New American south: Latinos make mark in an Appalachian city

Dalton, Ga., is nearly half Latino. On the high school soccer pitch, the team is almost entirely Latino. Dalton is special in Georgia, and indeed across the south, in that it has become much more diverse much faster than most other similar communities. And the changing demographics are changing the community.
