Appeal Ruling Due Today on Woman Convicted in 2009 Murder of 9 Year-old Brisenia Flores

PHOENIX (AP) — The Arizona Supreme Court is to rule Friday on an appeal for a former border activist sentenced to death for the killings of a man and his 9-year-old daughter during a 2009 home invasion in southern Arizona.

Shawna Forde was convicted in 2011 of first-degree murder in the shooting deaths of 29-year-old Raul Junior Flores and Brisenia Flores.
