Latinos represent at 2014 Sundance Film Festival

This year’s 2014 Sundance Film Festival, which runs Jan. 16-26 in Park City, Utah, features a handful of movies by Latino filmmakers. Among the highlights are:
“Cesar’s Last Fast”
Using never-before-seen footage, directors Richard Ray Perez and Lorena Parlee’s documentary details activist Cesar Chavez’s 36-day water-only “Fast for Life” in 1988 intended to shine a spotlight on the horrific effects of pesticide use on farm workers, their families and communities.
