Latino group examining Comcast merger proposal

The National Hispanic Media Coalition said Wednesday it’s in the process of evaluating the proposed $45 billion merger between Comcast Corporation and Time Warner Cable to see what’s best for the Latino community.
“In particular, NHMC is studying whether Comcast has fulfilled all of the commitments it made to the Latino community in the context of its acquisition of NBC Universal a few years ago…,” the organization said in a news release.
