CIA Interrogation Tactics Get Less Support From Hispanics

Support for the CIA’s interrogation tactics, that some are labeling torture, divides among racial lines, with Hispanics less supportive than whites polled by Pew Research Center for People & The Press.

Just 43 percent of Hispanics said the harsh tactics were justified, compared with 57 percent of whites and 42 percent of blacks. The center’s poll found 30 percent of Hispanics and 38 percent of blacks thought the tactics were not justified, while 26 percent of those polled who are white thought so.
