Today is the deadline for voter registration in four states

Eligible voters in Arizona, Arkansas, Hawaii and Washington have until today to register to vote in the November election.

Tomorrow, the 11th, is the deadline in another 14 states: Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, New Mexico, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas and the District of Columbia. There are10,659,000 eligible Latino voters in those 14 states. Here’s the breakdown:

State voting numbers

2.557 million – The number of Latino eligible voters in Florida – 18.1 percent of the state’s eligible voters.

291,000 – The number of Latino eligible voters in Georgia – 4.1 percent of the state’s eligible voters.

951,000 – The number of Latino eligible voters in Illinois – 10.5 percent of the state’s eligible voters.

167,000 – The number of Latino eligible voters in Indiana – 3.4 percent of the state’s eligible voters.

49,000 – The number of Latino eligible voters in Kentucky – 1.5 percent of the state’s eligible voters.

99,000 – The number of Latino eligible voters in Louisiana – 2.9 percent of the state’s eligible voters.

231,000 – The number of Latino eligible voters in Michigan – 3.1 percent of the state’s eligible voters.

591,000 – The number of Latino eligible voters in New Mexico – 40.4 percent of the state’s eligible voters.

199,000 – The number of Latino eligible voters in Ohio – 2.3 percent of the state’s eligible voters.

440,000 – The number of Latino eligible voters in Pennsylvania – 4.5 percent of the state’s eligible voters.

92,000 – The number of Latino eligible voters in Tennessee – 1.9 percent of the state’s eligible voters.

4.818 million – The number of Latino eligible voters in Texas – 28.8 percent of the state’s eligible voters.

147,000 – The number of Latino eligible voters in Utah – 7.8 percent of the state’s eligible voters.

27,000 – The number of Latino eligible voters in the District of Columbia – 5.5 percent of the state’s eligible voters.
